yeah that's what I meant! It's funny how wii owners are getting excited about what appears to be a dated FPS. Just goes to show how few core games are in development for wii. It's hard to get excited about this game when you have games like Killzone 2 on the horizon. Watched a few vids yesterday and was blown away by how it looks to be shaping up. Poor wii owners... having to get excited about shoddy looking games
The whole tax thing is probably the main issue, well it is thats why its 1 in the list.. but we as a nation need to take game development seriously. Incentives need to be introduced to beckon more development to take place on our shores. The lack of skills is also a problem, a mate is a tallented character animator at one of the the UK's best devs, he's always saying how hard it is to get a job in the industry even with good skills. I guess that is a positive thing for attaining high quality output, but it means that less skilled people with potential to become very good won't get the breaks they need to build up their skill set.
The (-) used in any game that requires swift button presses are a nightmare. Admittedly aiming is great on the wii, but I found on most FPS games on wii my shoulders really started to ache after a short time. I much prefer playing on the PS3 pad. I can lay down and play games. I prefer lounging about than sitting upright with my arms out.
Someone should invent a 16 layer cassette tape for Commodore 64. Now that's the future. Anyway, just because it has been announced doesn't mean it will see the light of day, or if it does will it necessarily be used in consoles. Sure it would allow bigger games, but I for one don't need bigger games! Got a back log of titles to get through. They are just fine on bluray thank you very much!
