Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii claimed the top spot in Australia during the week ended August 24.

The previous week’s bestseller, Wii Fit, dropped a place to No2, followed by Wii Play, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and SingStar Amped for PS2.

The PS3 version of Sega’s Beijing 2008 moved up three places to No6, while the Xbox 360 edition was a non-mover at No10. Sandwiched between the pair were Nintendo’s Brain Training and Sega’s Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games for DS and Wii.
