As part of EA’s recent wave of job cuts to save the company an annual $50m, reports have emerged that the publisher has closed its Blueprint division.

Blueprint always remained under the news radar as EA hadn’t made an official announcement of the division, though it was known the studio’s purpose was to deliver original IP.

A former employee of Blueprint explained that all the employees who worked as part of Bluprint have quit, been laid off, or migrated to other projects, reports Variety. Projects from Blueprint will now be transferred to EA Los Angeles. It is uncertain how many employees have had to leave the Blueprint arm.

The Blueprint ex-employee also explained that EA is building a team from different parts of the world to begin working on a sequel to Boom Blox.
