Germany’s cdv Software Entertainment AG has announced the creation of a London, UK-based office.

Ex-THQ and 505 Games exec David Walker has been appointed as managing director. He will be supported by marketing manager Matthew Walker, a former Activision and Crave Entertainment employee.

“The United Kingdom is clearly a significant market and important to cdv’s long-term strategy as a global service provider, and is best served by an experienced and knowledgeable local presence,” said Christian Gloe, CEO of cdv Software Entertainment AG.

David Walker added, “We are thrilled to showcase these opportunities with the complete cdv line-up, including Gamecock Media’s Mushroom Men, Hail to the Chimp and Velvet Assassin.”
