Technical Director - Core Technology Group - Brighton£Excellent + Benefits and Package Do you have a passion for racing and the games industry experience to match ?My client is AAA studio currently looking for an Technical Director to spearhead the Core Technology Group at their Brighton-based studio. The studio, best known for award-winning titles racing titles on Xbox 360 and PC.They are developing new-gen original IP racing games and looking for talented and passionate racing game enthusiasts to join the teams on these innovative Xbox 360 & PS3 projects. This is a newly created position and the role reports directly to the Studio Technical Director.Skills range / responsibilities:

• Coordinate the development of our shared technology platform.
• Lead a growing team of specialists focusing on all areas of our core technology including tools, infrastructure, graphics engine and audio.
• Work closely with our game teams to support their needs and requirements.
• Be responsible for planning and strategic technology development.
• Research, study and educate the team about new and relevant technologies / methodologies.
• Excellent level of proficiency with C++.
• At least 3 years experience as a lead / managing a technical team.
• The ability to lead a dynamic team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Participate in the interview process as we expand the CTG.
