The previsualisation team is responsible for producing animations and images based on the ideas of the game and marketing teams. Any new or existing features of the games are prototyped by previs until they work from a visual and gameplay point of view.
The nature of the work varies greatly in a short space of time as previs projects are generally quick turnaround. This means that working in previous is never boring - one day you could be producing a highly polished render for marketing, the next you might be animating an in-game car chase. As video games are becoming increasingly cinematic, so is video game previsualisation. Previs does it's best to incorporate film and television styles of camera work and post production effects into its sequences.
