This well known and successful studio are looking for an additional programmer to work on our animation technology team. This will involve writing cross-platform code to be used in multiple titles and developing tools to improve workflow and productivity for our animators. £Excellent on Experience + Best Benefits and Package
Required:
• Fluent in C++, including templates.
• Strong knowledge of 3D maths, including quaternions.
• Familiarity with skeletal animation techniques.
• Self-motivated, ability to work well with others.
• A passion for games.
• Additional:
• Experience with C# or Windows Presentation Foundation would be a bonus.
• Familiarity with animation in 3D applications such as Maya and MotionBuilder.
• An understanding of methods for 3D rendering of skinned models (e.g. matrix palette skinning).
• Ability to learn new skills
Candidates should ideally be able to provide a demo (with source code) that shows a skinned character moving around a simple 3D scene to prove they are confident with skeletal animation and 3D graphics.
